I am SOOO jealous...When my Mom and I lived in Queens, over 20 years ago, we used to drive up to Lake Minnewaska almost every weekend. I would swim in the lake and then curl up in an inner tube and sleep in the sun to warm up...the lake is COLD! I haven't been there in years and would love to go check it out again, but it seems we are always too busy to go. Isn't it gorgeous there? Great pictures. I'm still jealous!

The lake was cold - but it was 98F and humid so it felt amazing! I loved it there...we biked all around the lake and up Cardiac hill to get to the beach at Awosting - I thought my heart was going to explode. Good times!
